The photo you haveis the one we need.

One ordinary photograph of the front of your house becomes a fine art portrait, and you see it finished, free, before deciding anything.

Almost certainly.Here is why.

A phone photo is enough

Most portraits start as one. No studio shoot, no wide lens, no editing.

Grey weather is fine

The edition supplies the light. A portrait can glow at dusk from a photo taken on a wet Tuesday.

Cars and bins are fine

We paint the house, not the recycling. Ordinary street clutter does not survive into the artwork.

Neighbours recede

On a semi or a terrace, your half is the subject. Attached buildings soften back politely.

Include the roofline

The one real request: get the whole building in frame, chimney and all, as square-on as you can.

JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC

Up to 25MB, straight off any phone or from an estate agent listing you have saved.

Three steps.No leap of faith.

01

Upload the photograph

The clearest one you have. You confirm which building is yours before anything is painted.

02

Watch it painted

Choose one of fifteen editions and see the portrait take shape, usually in five to ten minutes.

03

Decide with it in front of you

The reveal is free and private. Only then do you choose paper, frame, canvas, acrylic or file.

The long version, with every check explained, lives at how it works. What it is printed on lives at paper, frames and inks.

Good questions.Straight answers.

Not sure about a specific photo? Send it to studio@heldportraits.co.uk and a person will tell you honestly.

01Can you make a house portrait from an old or low-quality photo?

Usually, yes. The portrait is painted rather than filtered, so a photograph does not need to be sharp enough to print, only clear enough to read the architecture. If a photo genuinely cannot carry a faithful portrait, the preview will show you that for free before any money changes hands.

02Does the portrait actually look like my house?

That is the whole discipline. The full property is outlined before painting begins, and every finished portrait is measured against your photograph. One that has not held the shape of your home is repainted rather than shown to you.

03How long does a house portrait from a photo take?

The free preview usually appears within five to ten minutes of uploading. A finished printed piece is typically despatched within days, framed and ready to hang, with tracked UK delivery included.

04What happens to my photograph?

It is used to make and check your portrait, and it stays private. Your preview is private too, unless you choose to share it.

05Can I use a photo of someone else’s house, as a gift?

Yes. A photo you have taken, or one from an old listing, works. Gift orders can carry a note and travel with no prices in the parcel.
