Before the portrait

What photograph should I use?

Use the clearest front-facing photo you have and include the whole roofline plus as much ground floor as possible. The original phone file is better than a screenshot.

Can cars, bins and neighbours be visible?

Yes. They are normal. We separate the home from everyday clutter and let adjacent properties recede without cutting away connected parts of yours.

How do you know which half of a semi is mine?

Before generation, the system identifies plausible properties from doors, driveways, rooflines and centrality. You see the proposed outline and confirm it before any artwork begins.

Do I need an account or card for the preview?

No. The first preview is private and free. An email address keeps the finished result at a private link so you can return to it.

The artwork

How long does generation take?

Usually two to four minutes after the property and edition are confirmed. Larger or visually complicated homes can take longer; the studio screen keeps reporting real progress.

Are the editions just filters?

No. Each edition has a locked composition, material language, palette and atmosphere. The building remains the subject; the edition determines how it is interpreted.

Will it still look like my house?

That is the standard. The finished portrait is checked against the confirmed property for doors, windows, bays, roofline, chimney and attached structure. If the architecture fails, it should not reach the reveal.

Can I add the address or a date?

Yes. A short inscription can sit beneath the image. You see it live on the frame and in every room view before placing the order.

03

Buying and keeping it

Can I see it on a wall first?

Yes. Switch between the frame and four real domestic settings, then change size, timber finish, glazing and inscription. The room scale updates with the selected print size.

Can I buy only the digital file?

Not at launch. HELD is currently built around the finished physical object: an unframed fine-art print, a ready-to-hang Classic frame or a stretched canvas.

What if it is a gift?

Use a photograph you have permission to use, add an inscription if you wish and choose “Send as a gift” before checkout. Enter their delivery address at payment and add an optional note from you; order emails and prices stay with you.

Can I return a personalised portrait?

You can cancel before production begins. Once a genuinely personalised product is being made, the ordinary change-of-mind return normally does not apply—but faulty, damaged, incorrect or not-as-described items remain fully protected.

What if the frame arrives damaged?

Contact us with the order number and photographs of the item, packaging and delivery label. We will arrange the appropriate no-cost remedy and will not make you pay to return an accepted fault.

Where is it made?

UK orders are routed through Prodigi’s live print network. Our launch range uses its Enhanced Matte Art paper, 38mm stretched canvas and handmade 20mm Classic timber frames. Every product and destination is checked live again before payment.
